Recent studies have shown a major linkage between male factor infertility and testicular cancer (upwards of 20 times the usual occurance rate. This is true even if pregnacy has been achieved by artificial means. Most infertile couples are treated in fertility clinics where, because of the newer fertilization technics require few sperm, the male is not really evaluated.

A simple quick urologic evaluation on all men who are the reason for conception problems even if assisted technics have been sucessful. Cancer of the testes is highly curable (mid to high 90% level), but only if caught early
